Creating Space… For Clear Decisions

Leading With VOICCE® Series.

Do you want to prove your position is right? There’s data for that. You want to prove another person’s position is wrong? There’s data for that too.
Sales lagging? Great. There’s a ton of growth opportunity. Sales outpacing last year? Great. Now we need to maintain momentum.
After more than 20 years leading sales and strategy, there’s one thing I know for sure: it’s not can we find the data, it’s do we know what to do with it?
Are we asking the questions that matter most? Are we aligned on the outcome we actually want? Are teams chasing the same priorities - or just reacting to the next alert?
In my years as a leader, those were the things that kept me up at night. The data was always available. The clarity was not.
Because clarity doesn’t come from more information - it comes from interpretation. And that’s where decision fatigue begins: when the noise outpaces our ability to discern. Once you add to this the level of stress and burnout we are facing, the noise amplifies beyond comprehension.
The best leaders I’ve worked with don’t chase more inputs. They pause long enough to interpret the story those inputs are trying to tell. They use structure and presence to cut through noise.
That’s what the VOICCE℠ Framework was designed for - to help leaders shift from collecting data to connecting the dots. The next time you feel yourself swimming in data points or unsure which step to take next, try this:
Vision: What’s the outcome that truly matters?
Options: What paths or perspectives haven’t we explored yet?
Insight: What’s the deeper truth behind the numbers?
Choice: What decision aligns with our values and direction?
Commitment: What are we willing to stand behind - together?
Execution: How will we track progress without losing focus?
Because when leaders trade more data for more clarity, teams move faster, communication improves, and burnout decreases.
The goal isn’t to manage the noise. It’s to pause and create space for insights to emerge, despite it.
So before your next big decision, ask yourself: “Am I leading with information… or with insight?”
Does this resonate? If so, stay tuned, and if you’re ready to support your teams with more intention and clarity, I am hosting an exclusive Executive Roundtable for HR Professionals and those supporting People Leaders. Join me on November 19 for - Executive Roundtable: What People Leaders Wish They Could Tell You (But Don't)
Thank you for your presence. I am so excited to continue this journey with you!
In gratitude, Tian.
